LIGHTNESS, SIMPLICITY AND PURITY IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

Something is fascinating about watching the calm sea. A close look at where the blue of the water ends and the sky begins takes us to a state of serenity and comfort. Terraza Balear was keen to bring that characteristic tranquility of the Mediterranean to the interiors of its latest project, Costa Azul.

“This project is a search for lightness and intense beauty through a certain lens of the Mediterranean aesthetic – after all, this is our culture,”- explains Carmen Pujol, Creative Director of Terraza Balear.

Blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior
The heart of a home

The kitchen is the part of the house where life happens- the room where we spend most of our time, where we share, communicate and create most of our memories. It is a meeting point for all the inhabitants of the house, so designing a welcoming space is crucial.

For this project, the versatile bulthaup system with anodized aluminum and steel surfaces was chosen to create a gentle and soft atmosphere. From the general layout to the details: everything connects culinary and community, so you can now spend time with friends and family cooking the freshest meals together.

A perfect touch of privacy and tranquillity
