Located at south-west coast of Mallorca, Vent is a private residence where interior design flows naturally, with spaces that connect seamlessly and open continuously to the outdoors. The project is built around a direct relationship with its surroundings, aiming to create a serene, light-filled and coherent atmosphere throughout the home.
Vent was developed in its entirety by Terraza Balear part of Gunni & Trentino, overseeing the project from the initial concept through to the selection of furniture and the bespoke design of the kitchen, wardrobes and bathroom furniture, with meticulous attention to detail and overall coherence.
The living room stands out as one of the home’s key spaces, featuring a carefully curated selection of furniture from leading brands, such as the Flexform sofa and armchair, whose design reinforces the sense of comfort and retreat. The outdoor areas, furnished with Tribù pieces, extend the interior language onto the terrace, allowing residents to enjoy the landscape and the sound of the sea.
At the heart of the home are the kitchen and dining area, conceived as a single, open space designed for sharing and everyday living. The kitchen, a proprietary Gunni & Trentino design created entirely to measure, is tailored for comfortable, functional daily use while maintaining a clean, timeless aesthetic. Its open connection to the living area enhances natural light and encourages a fluid relationship with the rest of the home.
In the nighttime areas, the project’s sense of continuity is expressed through a carefully calibrated use of space, light, and bespoke detailing. Custom-designed wardrobes by Gunni & Trentino, fitted with premium interior systems, integrate seamlessly into the architecture, reinforcing a composed and uncluttered atmosphere. A restrained palette of soft tones and natural finishes supports a feeling of visual calm, allowing the rooms to feel both intimate and open.
This coherence extends into the bathrooms, where tailored furniture and finely considered materials define a refined, functional environment. Inalco wall and floor surfaces introduce subtle texture and depth, while Gessi taps bring a precise, sculptural quality to the fittings. Together, these elements create spaces that feel balanced and purposeful, where everyday routines unfold with ease and quiet sophistication.
The outdoor areas complete the project’s spatial sequence, conceived as natural continuations of the interior architecture. Shaded terraces and open platforms are carefully arranged to frame coastal views, reinforcing a measured dialogue between built form and landscape. A restrained selection of outdoor furnishings and materials supports visual continuity, allowing light, proportion, and atmosphere to shape the experience of these open-air spaces.
Vent concludes as a project guided by balance and intention. From bespoke interior elements to exterior areas shaped by their setting, each zone reflects a thoughtful architectural approach to Mediterranean living. The result is a residence where structure, materiality, and landscape come together in quiet harmony, creating an environment designed for lasting comfort and ease.
