Like a baobab tree firmly anchored to the earth, the verticality of the architecture intentionally seeks to emphasise the interiors, highlighting their beauty and enhancing their continuous dialogue with the fascinating surroundings. Nestled in the exclusive and luxurious hills of Son Vida, in the southwest of Palma, the impressive three-story building offers breathtaking views that play a major role in the interior design concept.
Terraza Balear has carried out this 360º project transferring its philosophy and essence to each of the rooms in the house. The selection of fine materials, together with organic colours, textures and shapes, provide and reinforce the curated and well-balanced contrasts that integrate perfectly with the spectacular landscape.
At the main entrance, architectural elements deliberately emphasize verticality and frame the view of the Castillo de Belver. The living and dining rooms, main kitchen, reading room and several terraces are located on the ground floor. In this area, the intention to blend indoor and outdoor spaces reaches maximum splendor.
The organic hues of this area are based on the colors of the stone and various shades of green associated with the forest surrounding the house.
On the first floor, the master bedroom, a temple of serenity and impeccable style, is conveniently placed alongside three bedrooms.
The Mediterranean sea merges with the Balearic sky, while the green forest surrounding the property and the majestic Castillo de Bellver form the skyline, making the outdoor spaces e a dream come true. The terrace and outdoor lounge areas are the ideal places to relax with family and friends on long summer nights.
The dining area, with a balanced mix of neutral colours and green shades, features a rationalism-inspired elegant set of furniture. Undoubtedly, Villa Bao is a fantastic retreat where to enjoy, both inside and outside, meaningful and precious moments with loved ones.
